Henry's Head, La Perouse

This piece is close to my heart, depicting Henry’s Head Beach at La Perouse—a place steeped in my personal history. Over 250 hours went into every brushstroke of this oil on canvas, as I aimed to capture the powerful surge of the waves meeting the rugged embrace of the rocks. I wanted the vibrant blues and subtle greens of the ocean to come alive, so viewers could almost hear the thunderous crash and feel the sea spray. The sky, painted with rolling clouds, adds an element of peace to contrast the raw energy of the water. Creating this artwork was more than a labor of love; it was a tribute to a cherished corner of the world that has shaped my memories and soul.
